Veg Out AZ: Snack and Shop Across the State
Are you Veg curious? The rising popularity of vegan and vegetarian cuisine has paved the way for sans-meat options all over Arizona. One particular staple makes the vegetarian lifestyle a breeze. I’m talking about the all-American veggie burger. Whether it’s traditional, topped with mushrooms, laced with green chile or stacked like a double-decker tourist bus, the veggie burger is an art. To celebrate this tasty vegetarian snack, I’ve compiled a top five list (in no particular order) that both herbivores and omnivores can enjoy. Luckily, each of the top five are moments away from a Bookmans. This summer, get on the road and explore one or all of these local gastronomic gems. Then, stop in at Bookmans to peruse our awesome vegan and vegetarian cooking section for some rad finds.
