When Bookmans was founded in 1976, compact discs didn't exist and "recycle" wasn't yet a catchphrase, let alone a way of life. For over 30 years we've operated on the assumption that books, music, and other media deserve the chance to be discovered on our shelves, not in the local landfill. How We Buy

Most of what we sell is recycled directly from our customers, and we're here to help make the most of your trade-in experience. We are flexible to customer demand, current store stock, and the condition of any item that comes across the trade counter. While you shop, we sort through your deal and set aside what we can use at that time. When you're ready, we'll have an offer in Bookmans trade credit or cash waiting for you. Think the offer could be better? Feel free to ask questions and negotiate. Our offers are as flexible as our stock, and we're happy to clarify the process for you. Why not bring in those books, games, and movies you've already enjoyed, and discover something that's new to you?
