Freebie Fridays: Sunnyside Breakfast Lounge
**This Freebie Friday offer is closed. Come back to our website this Friday for your next chance to win.**
As part of our belief that it pays to shop local, each and every Friday this November Bookmans Mesa hosts a new contest called Freebie Fridays. This series showcases a local business and offers you a chance to experience parts of Mesa that deserve a broader audience. This first week takes us to east Mesa where, nestled below the vast hillsides of the Las Sendas community, lay a sanctuary of comfort and delicious natural foods and beverages. Aptly named Sunnyside Breakfast Lounge, you will be welcomed by members of the experienced and passionate Sunnyside service experts.
Led by Executive Chef Gabriel Garfio, local Sunnyside offers a variety of juice bar drinks for the health conscious, a great selection of specialty drinks, both alcoholic and non-, and an array of tantalizing breakfast and lunch menu items. We highly recommend the Chorizo Benedict. Whether you are out for a quick bite or want to kill time having smoothies on the patio, this is a fun locally owned spot worth giving a try. And here’s your chance! We have in hand a $25 gift card for one lucky winner.

WHY BUY LOCALLY OWNED?
It keeps the money in city/state and that could really be used (additional light rail construction is a necessary evil).
Sunnyside has been an asset to our neighborhood! It is our favorite breakfast spot. The personal attention you receive there is outstanding. The staff is always curious and friendly.
Interesting idea. Good to see more focus on buying local.
I always try to buy locally owned for the unique products and experiences offered. I love supporting the efforts of local people!
To support local businesses, keeping our city thriving and prosperous.
I am glad you are highlighting Sunnyside – a breakfast restaurant. We had never heard of it and enjoy breakfast out… We used to enjoy a wonderful Easter brunch at the golf course in Las Sendas… This was so special out on the patio. Could this be the same place?
Thank you for having this contest…
Buying local helps to support the community and ensures “healthy development” of the neighborhood. It helps to foster a sense of responsibility and get to see what impact your actions have around you. Sunnyside is a great local breakfast spot. Who would even think of going to IHOP when you have this? Healthy fresh flavors! Can’t go wrong while dining there. We used to live just a couple minutes away, but now make the trek from Central Phoenix a few times a month to eat breakfast on the weekends.
Best Breakfast place around.
Love the fresh eggs in the Omlettes.
We travel 20 miles for a good eat place.
❤️????
Never really appreciated Franchises… Love local restaurants and shops. Always unique options and you gotta love the culinary creativeness. Local all the way.
America was always about the local pub or corner store…It is what makes this country strong.
Buying locally not only supports ongoing economic growth for the community, but also is a learning experience in finding the uniqueness in products,,food, art, and shopping opportunities. Buying locally allows an individual to learn more about the diverse cultures,,product specialties,,and the individuals that compose our community to make us strong. Each buying experience locally is a feeling of satisfaction that one is helping our community to grow!.
Sunnyside is a unique restaurant that is delightful, relaxing, serves natural foods and the staff is always pleasant and accommodating. Sunnyside is a excellent example of the great quality and delightful experiences of buying locally!
