So many things to look at when visiting Bookmans. I’d have to say my favorite is browsing the new releases and the books that the staff pull out to recommend to read. Always great suggestions and helps me build my reading list.
Vintage Arizona Highways magazines
I love to find books on the flora of Arizona and the Southwest. Many of the books on cactus and succulents go out of print quickly because of small printings, so I look at Bookman’s for these treasures
I enjoy finding educational books and teaching materials for my daughter.
My favorite thing to find at Bookmans is vintage toys. Lots of fun coming in and checking out the cases. Even when I can’t afford a piece, the nostalgia is well worth the trip.Thanks!
I like to find gently used books – real life mystery stories (Ann Rule), children books, references, etc. Although, not often – I sometimes find some board game or toy for my child that it’s much less expensive than a brand new one.
I love browsing through the books for something to read and then I eat over to dvds and games to see what else I missed. I can’t buy just 1 thing
I love finding great new fiction books, old video games, and funky stuff in the collectibles!
My favorite thing at the Mesa location are the vintage toys and wide assortment of fun events I bring my kids to .
the best thing about Bookmans is looking for the stuff thats hidden, like in the back wall, in-between all the books, theres lots of cool things to be found.
