FAQs

What if I only have a few books, movies, CDs, etc?
At this time, we're only accepting merchandise in large quantity. At a later date (TBD) we will announce buying days when you can bring your smaller collection of merchandise to a specified location for us to purchase.

What are you buying?
We are in need of everything: books, music, movies, jewelry, housewares, and more!

What should I do? Is there a location to drop-off items?
Currently, we are only looking at large lots of items by appointment. When you call Bookmans to express your interest in selling merchandise, an employee will schedule a time to come out to your home, business or organization to look over the materials.

WINTER STORM SHUTS DOWN FLAGSTAFF STORE

Our Flagstaff Store is closed due to a severe winter storm. On Thursday, January 21, 2010, due to the tremendous snowfall in Flagstaff, the roof of our store, and that of JoAnn's Fabric next door, collapsed. Both stores were closed at the time due to the inclement weather, so thankfully there were no injuries.

We would like to say thank you to our friends, colleagues, employees and customers for the generous outpouring of support we've received from you during this time.

It is our intention to repair and rebuild the Flagstaff store in it's current location and to re-open. We'll be posting pictures and updates of the progress here on this page, so please check back.

UPDATE: FEBRUARY 10, 2010

Bookmans Flagstaff employees are still working, despite the roof collapse last month. All of our employees will work toward re-opening the Flagstaff store -- going through inventory, helping to buy replacement inventory, etc., and will also continue to support Bookmans' weekly community events that we would have held in the store on a weekly basis. These events always reflect Bookmans' core philosophies and values: environment, literacy causes and animal welfare.
