An Awful Quote That Failed an Incredible Movie
The film industry is filled with absolutely stellar movies. Some of my favorites include Jurassic Park, The Shining, and Pulp Fiction, though that list could go on and on. Although the movies themselves are incredible as a whole, there are some quotes from famous movies that just don’t make sense. Lucky for you, we have compiled some of our favorite terrible one-liners.
“You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring.”
– Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring
Title drop quote! Was that really necessary, Elrond?
“I never discuss love on an empty stomach.”
“You’ve already eaten.”
“But you haven’t.”
– North By Northwest
I love older films, but this exchange is just… corny.
“Let’s kick some ice.”
– Batman and Robin
Okay, we get it. The villain is Mr. Freeze. Please, no more puns.
“In an hour he could have Total Recall”
– Total Recall
Again with the title drops?
“I love magic.”
– Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Way to rub it in, Harry. Way to rub it in…
“While you were still learning how to SPELL your name, I was being trained to conquer galaxies.”
– Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the Year 3000
Well, that escalated quickly. Quote fail.
“Pain don’t hurt.”
– Road House
What does this quote even mean? I am very confused.
“What killed the dinosaurs? The ICE Age!”
– Batman & Robin
Again? Really?
“You should not drink and bake”
– Raw Deal
Iconic. Any Schwarzenegger quote would fit beautifully on this list, but this one just takes the cake.
