Earth-Friendly April at Bookmans
This month, Bookmans goes green — even more green than usual. Stop by every location for themed events intended to support and protect our environment. From recycled crafts with Girl Scouts to sustainable energy, don’t miss any of the Earth-friendly fun. Join us as we go green for our big blue planet.
Learn new ways to reduce, reuse and recycle in our stores. Bookmans Phoenix hosts an ecological edition of the Crafty Café featuring recycled crafts with local Girl Scout Troop 164. Bookmans Mesa also works with Girl Scouts at the Go Green! Girl Scouts Earth Party. Flagstaff gets down with the Doctor — Dr. Seuss that is! They celebrate with an Earth Day Lorax Celebration. For a fascinating peek into sustainable living, check out the Sustainability Program Energy Efficiency Workshop, also at Bookmans Flagstaff. Bookmans Ina shows their love for the planet at the Earth Day Celebration with Mad Science. Bookmans Speedway makes conservation creative with a fun Organic Dream Catcher Craft and Mr. Nature’s Music Garden. Join us at Bookmans Grant for multiple events beginning with recycled bird feeders and ending with an outdoor screening of The Lorax.
You can also see us at festivals and events around Arizona including Fridays in the Park at Civic Space Park in Downtown Phoenix and the Phoenix Film Festival at Harkins Scottsdale 101. We look to celebrate good times with you this April. Please visit our Events Calendar to keep up on our free, earth-friendly activities in addition to all the great events you’ve come to expect from Bookmans.

Can’t wait for you to have your book titles listed on line and SEARCHABLE!
Please hurry.
Thanks!
We have no plans for a digital inventory of the books in our stores. Our stores are people powered. We have excellent customer service people who you can call to learn if we have a particular title. You can also e-mail a store to request a book look.
If you are looking to do your book shopping online, you can look for us at Abe, Alibris or Amazon where we have store fronts.
Do you carry kindled in your store? Am curious.
We do sometimes see Kindles come over the trade counter, but I can’t say that we “carry” them because our stock changes constantly.
