Freebie Friday: Dinner at Flancer’s in Gilbert Compliments of Bookmans
As part of our belief that it pays to shop local, each and every Friday this November Bookmans Mesa hosts a Shop Local, Give Local Freebie Friday contest. This series showcases a local business each Friday and offers you a chance to experience parts of Mesa and the East Valley that deserve a broader audience. Our first week took us to Four Peaks Brewery in Tempe and our second week we traveled to Downtown Mesa.
This week we head over to Gilbert where we find the home of Flancer’s Gourmet Grub. Where “if you have an appetite for succulent, fresh food, it’s available today at Flancer’s Restaurant.”
Owned and operated by Culinary Institute of America graduate Jeff Flancer, offering genuine comfort food with sublime and stimulating twists. In Jeff’s words: “Over time things change, so we upgraded our already quality ingredients and time tested recipes to keep your senses excited with mindfulness to your well-being. When possible, we rework our classic recipes to keep calories & sodium down without losing the taste you love. Over time some things don’t change, like using the best fresh quality ingredients, locally grown when possible. We use butter not margarine, real vanilla, not imitation and for our oils, we only use canola and olive. We use high quality locally made fresh sausage. Our turkeys are free range as well as antibiotic and hormone free and baked from scratch in our kitchen. We enjoy making almost every item on our menu including the our bread in house, the old fashioned and authentic way, like we always have. That’s why you come here and we’re totally cool with that!”
If you’re already salivating over how great they sound, youre in luck! We have a 25.00 gift certificate waiting for YOU!

Love Flancer’s! Instead of cooking all day on Thanksgiving, my family is having Flancer’s do it for us.
