Greeting Cards
Bookmans Speedway carries handmade, one-of-a-kind greeting cards from Turtle’s Soup and Sue’s pressed flower and calligraphy cards. Show your loved ones that your support doesn’t come mass produced.

Lex’s Candles and Pins
Let Lex keep you relevant and true to yourself. Light a candle for your favorite pop patron saint with Lex’s quirky votive candles and decorate your vest or hat with his button pushing pins.

Beads and Baubles
Take a look at the Weegonza collection featuring a fascinating array of creatures and creations. The owner of Weegonza can teach you how to make your own on the fourth Friday of each month with Kerrie’s Crafty Cafe from 5 to 7 p.m. Our jewelry spinners and cases are full of our customers’ finest. Check out our adjustable sterling silver wire-wrap rings or our hand beaded necklaces and earrings.

Art for Your Walls
When you finish decorating yourself, have a go at gussying up your place. We have original artwork from local talent like Adam Yeater and matted prints created by Julia. Julia’s prints are an example of the best in re-purposing. All her prints have been saved from discarded books and include every conceivable subject matter.

Fiber Arts
Local knitters and weavers supply us with gorgeous textiles. Learn more about textile crafts with Tucson Handweavers and Spinners, who often meet up in our store.

Hand Colored Works
Need to relax but have the crafty bug? Join our coloring book club, Adult Color, from 6 to 8 p.m. on the second Friday of each month. Just come to hang out with friendly folk. You don’t even have to bring supplies. Bookmans Speedway has all you need to get started including creative and unusual coloring books. Adults who color may also be interested in the Make Your Own Papyrus kits that are currently in stock. It’s super fun to create your own Egyptian art.

Local Art Fair
Bookmans Speedway wraps up All Things Art month with a Local Art Fair from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 26. This fair features Yeater and his friends who debut their latest and greatest works. We host workshops throughout the fair so you can learn how the pros make their artwork.
