You are definitely metal enough for today’s Ticket Tuesday. This is your chance to win a pair of passes to see OTEP with Rejktion and Downfall 2012 on their Art of Fury Tour at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 29 at The Rialto Theatre.

From The Rialto Theatre website: OTEP got their start in late 2000, when singer/band namesake Otep Shamaya brought her Marilyn Manson-meets-Kim Gordon style of singing to a crew of musicians known only as Rob, Moke, and eViL j. The foursome began gigging around Los Angeles and scored a deal with Capitol solely on the strength of their live show (they’d not yet recorded a demo).

Rejktion is a Southamerican alternative rock/electronica band from Santiago, Chile. Formed in 2010, the band develops a unique sound based on elements of rock, metal, and electronic music. Conceptually, The ReAktion deals with subjects such as social movements, environmental awareness, and unity, in an attempt to bring a message of consciousness revolution to the world.

Downfall 2012 has shared the stage with Hed(pe), The Hunger, Twisted Sister, Alice Cooper, The Damned Things, Fair to Midland, Dirty Wormz, and numerous other national acts. The band has won metal band of the year from Houston’s Radio station 94.5, and has been nominated for multiple categories yearly from The Houston Press Music Awards.
