So, you’ve got a lot of books. Of course you do, you’re a total bookworm. But how in the world are you going to organize all that literature? You could always go with the classic organization by author’s last name, but what’s the fun in that? Spice up your bookshelf and make it a little more, “you.” We know how important it is to express your geekdom. Organize your bookshelf like one of these and we promise you will never want to leave your library again.

“Anxiety arises from not being able to see the whole picture. If you feel anxious, but are not sure why, try putting your things in order.”
-Marie Kondo, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up

Be thematic! Organize each shelf by genre. It makes searching for books a lot easier.

I call this one The Millennial. Seriously, facing your books with the pages out is a legitimate trend. Is this technically organizing your bookshelf?

Into role-playing? Create a shrine of your Dungeons & Dragons collection.

Show off what you love. Bookshelves are fantastic for self-expression.

Make it fun for the kids too. Grab a couple of Funko Pops, their favorite books, and put them on display for all to see.

This one is not for the faint of heart. Color coordinating looks gorgeous, however finding specific books might be a little bit of an issue. Do you dare?

Nothing says organized like the good old fashioned alphabetize-by-author’s-last-name style.
